Tajunga

Tajunga has been in a foster home for two weeks and is doing great. She had picked up a little weight at the kennel but has been working out hard and is back in racing shape.

Tajunga is very playful. The first thing she does in the morning is look for her toys, even before she goes out for her walk. She is a lot of fun.

Wanted

I'm looking for what my walkers call a "forever home." I think that they have something going here.
They tell me that forever homes have squishy beds with lots of blankets. I love blankets!
They also say that homes have toys! I know there's a toy around here somewhere, but I would like to have my very own.
They also say that the people will adore my cute smiles. I've seen that the walkers like them and I would like to try them out on a family too.
I've also heard that when you go to a home there are walks and yards. I like to get out and exercise. How else could I maintain this lovely figure?
Do you have what I am looking for in a home? Please contact Patty and Suzanne if you are interested.

Cutie Pie!

I met Tajunga (needs a new name!) last week and had a chance to walk her yesterday. What a sweetheart! The white tip of her tail happily whips as she walks nicely on her leash. She's SO HAPPY! And talk about a grinner - she shows all of her teeth in a big smile while she waits to get out of her kennel.

Absolutely gorgeous black lady too! White tips from nose to tail. Here are some pictures from our outing yesterday.

She's very playful and has the cutest ears - not upright, but out to the sides when she's keeping an eye on things. Obviously from her tail, you can see she is a confident hound that's ready to go to her forever home. I think it was in mid-wag at the time I snapped this shot. Could her new home be yours?

Tajunga is a doll. She grinned at us tonight when we got her out for a visit after walking all the dogs at the kennel. If you've never seen a dog smile or grin, it's the cutest thing. They lift their lips a little, but not like when they growl. It's precious.

We got a toy out for her to play with. She was interested in the toy when we played with it and her. If we stopped playing with the toy, she'd get bored and go look at herself in the glass of one of the doors. She's too cute, especially with that little bit of white on her nose and toes.

She seems to a ridge of hair on her neck close to her shoulders, almost like a mini mohawk. It make her even cuter.

She wasn't bothered by the slick floor and seemed to enjoy just being out and about and exploring. Just an all around fun, cute, sweet girl.
